Description

A CL&P line worker restored power to his road first, so his wife to run could run her consulting business from the house…

In Sherman, over 99% of houses are without power, and yet the house on Hillside Drive had power restored on Monday, 10/31.. Why?? The house at the end of Hillside Drive is owned by a CL&P line worker, and he made sure his road was the first to have power restored. Hillside Drive is way off a main road and in a heavily wooded area. I drove out to look for myself on Tuesday, and the massive amount of work that had to be done, just so Hillside Drive could have power restored. Hillside Drive only has 6 homes on it, and only one are a fulltime residents with the rest being for sale, empty or part time weekend homes. Hillside Drive is far off a main road. Go visit 6 Hillside Drive and ask how they had their power restored on Monday !!!
Shouldn't there be a plan to properly prioritize restoration work? or are senior CL&P line workers allowed to have work for their house first…
