Description

School bus standing every morning between 7-730 waiting to make run. Impedes line of site on a state hwy for cars looking to access rte 79 southbound from cross road. Have contacted both Madison Police service and Durham Bus Company several times, no action to date. Some is going to get hurt!

sporadic improvement as this does not happen daily. I would estimate that the situation is now 3 to 4 times a month.

School is about to start with a new crop of drivers, expecting this again to be an issue, which I will have to call our local police services and Durham bus services. They will again tell me they will deal with it and sometime around Nov/Dec it will stop happening after several calls. It is so frustrating.

View looking north to turn south at the corner of Cross Rd. and Route 79. This picture was taken 9/14/14. Does someone really have to be hurt for this bus to find somewhere else to wait to do their next run?!

I believe they do... the bus driver can wait in the commuter parking lot.
