Lee: I just received a call from Duke saying that they repaired a street light, and this location is the most recent one I called in to them - when you can, could you confirm that this light is working? If so, I'll close this issue report. Thanks! David, M.A.C.

No luck with this street light. It was still out the several times I checked it last night. For Duke's sake this light is on the north side of 49th Ave N, just west of 16th Street next to an alley.

Hmmm - thanks for checking on that light - yep, it sounds exactly like the location I gave them - I will call it in again today - maybe the call I got from them on Monday was for a different light - at any rate, we'll try to get them out there again - sorry for the delay! David - M.A.C.

FYI - As of last night 12/01/2014 this streetlight is still out.

I wonder why they aren't fixing that light? It's right at the curb, no trees preventing access or anything like that. Weird. I will call them again right now.

Yeah, there's no obstructions to get to it. Certainly odd. Oh Duke! haha

Ok, called it in. Again. I did mention this was the third time we've requested this light be repaired - all they said was that it's possible this particular light needs to be completely replaced, which might explain why it's taking longer than a typical repair (I'm not convinced.) I guess we give them 3 business days. Again. Sorry!

Good Friday afternoon, Lee - I just listened to a voicemail from a Duke Energy tech who said he was at 1619 49th Ave N to repair the street light at the entrance to the alley on the north side of 49th. Fingers crossed. If you can, check it over the weekend when it's dark and keep me posted.

The light is working! It doesn't look like there is a lens protecting the bulb, but at least it on! Thank you for your help.
