Can someone with the Police Dept update the Forest Acres residents? Gunshots happen too frequently in this area...many due to the drinking and fighting from the clubs on Paula St. They should be closed down.
I'm not sure about gunshots reported this past weekend but once again loud music was. I do know that gunshots were reported about 3 weekends ago. You are correct, this happens way too frequently and i'm about at the end of my rope with the issues with the nightclubs located on Paula st.
Amy, please do not close an issue that does not effect you. The residents of Forest Acres call the police so many times that they know us by name and phone ID. The City Council also knows us by name. We have spoke with them about this many times Thank you.
Once again, there were 6-7 gunshots reported Friday night coming from the clubs on Paula Street, is there a reason why the city is not replying to this post?
It's not just this post. They're not replying to anything on this site. There's a communications problem somewhere among city administrative employees.
I called the RPD again tonight for the loud music coming from the 2 nightclubs located on Paula st. Approx.an hour later someone called about gunshots fired on Paula st. A RPD officer just came to my home(1.00 a.m.) and confirmed several shots fired on Paula st tonight. The shell casings were actually recovered,an underage party at one of the clubs was going on i was told by this officer. Constant gunshots fired, loud music, disturbing the peace several nights a week less than 200 yards from our homes. When is the city going to actually handle this matter? This has got to stop.
Once again i had to call on the loud music coming from the clubs on Paula st.Fri.night.Someone also called about gunshots the same night which i heard also. Around 1.00 am an RPD officer came to my house to confirm that an underage party was going on at one of the clubs and shots were fired. The officer told me that the shell casings from the gun was recovered.Less than 200 yards from our homes guns are being fired, loud music til 3.00 am,constant disturbing the peace issues every week but yet the city fails to put a stop to this. ??? This has got to end.
