Last year, I was under the impression that the whole of Rt 159, from the center to the Windsor Locks town line would be done. The state is in charge of maintaining Palisado...it is a state highway, but we need Windsor government support.

I just got a response ....159 from the center of town to the Windsor Locks town line is being done in 2015 along with 75. The reason why we didn't do it this year is because 84/ 91 and other major highways were in poor conditions

You are correct on both accounts - Palisado Avenue is Route 159, managed by the State DOT. This road was scheduled by the DOT to be milled and paved this year, but the work has been rescheduled to occur in 2015 primarily because of the recent bridge work under the Henry Bridge by the MDC and the recent Yankee Gas work installing gas lines under the road. We will close this issue at this time, with the assumption that the DOT performs their work next year, as scheduled.
