Description
Location: On the bridge Immediately east of 1515 Eden Isle Blvd., St. Petersburg. (In the Snell Isle area).
The storm drain located in the sidewalk portion of the bridge to Eden Isle has disintegrated, spalling large chunks of concrete and allowing the reinforcing rebar to protrude up above the level of the sidewalk. This presents a significant hazard to pedestrians, both in risk of injury from tripping or ankle injuries, as well as from forcing pedestrians out into the street to avoid it. Since it's on the bridge, streetward is the only direction available for avoidance.

He/I not only survived the Jenga game, but was able to purchase that tasty adult beverage in my hand with the money I saved by acquiring that stylish outfit at a Pre-Owned Clothing establishment (thrift store come-up like Macklemore & Lewis).
So ladies, if you've been waiting for that "special" fellow who is both a snazzy dresser AND capable of being a lid on a Jenga stack, grab your landscaping maintenance tools and get on over to the bridge onto Eden Isle where maybe we can talk after you trim your bush. Awwww yeaaahhhhh...

My comment would make a lot more sense if the original posting hadn't left out the work request for bush & tree trimming on the overgrown foliage on the west end of the bridge that is blocking the sidewalk. (Face-Palm)
I've entered a separate work order request for the bush trimming as well, since even though it's at the same location, the Category was different than the one for the Sidewalk Repair.

No worries, we got your other issue report for the vegetation trimming.
We will pitch your suggestion about editing posts to the folks at SeeClickFix - they do provide an option to "flag" a comment or an entire issue - that alerts them that you'd like the flagged item removed, which can can do if need be (we don't have that ability on our end.)

Thank you for your past submission via SeeClickFix. The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews past reports that are made from citizens within our city limits, and in an effort to clean-up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible. If you've already submitted a more current issue report, there is no need to re-open this one.
Thank you again - Sincerely,
