Putting something on the city website is not a press release. When I see this in the newspaper or on tv news, you may then close the ticket.

I didn't close the ticket, but I wanted to point out that yes, that was indeed a press release. "Press release" doesn't mean a newspaper printed it or TV news aired it. Raleigh has no control over what newspapers print or TV news airs.

I wasn't clear on who closed the ticket. Just putting something out on the city website doesn't qualify as a press release unless the city has notified the public in some manner. I'm certain the city has the manpower to respond to these tickets.
