Description
Many street lights are out along Hurley Ave, Schwenk Drive, Clinton Avenue, Albany Avenue (near Academy Green and the traffic circle) - making it hazardous since it is very dark at 6:30 a.m. and there are many walkers, bike riders, joggers, etc. wearing dark clothing

it is a terrible thing to see sooooooooooooooooo many complaints thats arent taken care of...... how hard is it to put in a light bulb, fix a sidewalk, a pothole, contol drugs, storm drains.. there are many workers on the taxpayers ,taxpaying taxrolls.... who looks at these real true complaints and who cares enough to work on them... shameful.

I have gone thru schwenk drive with just the blinking llight situation and it has improved the flow of traffic. there is no back up ......it has a possitive affect at the intersection of the plaza and S .Drive people are curtious and know how to proceed ....

Yes, many lights are out in Kingston seems like no one cares in Kingston, maybe after the election?

I advised one of Kingston's officials and was told that I should record the street light pole numbers and report them to central hudson. I am a senior citizen who is hesitant of going out in the dark, stopping at each pole with a flashlight, pen/pencil and pad to do this. I observe patrol cars making their rounds at 6:30ish a.m. weekdays on my way to my job - wouldn't it be impossible for them to report these outages, surely they MUST notice the really dark areas!

I totally agree that the blinking traffic light is a great improvement on the flow of traffic thru Schwenk drive and Kingston Plaza intersection......however I wasn't pointing out the traffic light - the outages on the STREET Lights are causing me concern....

The street light at the Clinton Ave/Franklin intersection goes out intermittently and the adjacent street light to it on Franklin heading towards Pine St also does the same. Many times they're out together leaving that area completely dark.

the street lights I wrote about 6 days ago are still out and areas are really in darkness since its' really getting darker, and darker every morning........wait until the time changes and we FALL Back one hr.....WORSE.

THERE CAN BE A SENSOR THAT IS REACTING TO HEAT OR LIGHT ETC. SO BEAR WITH IT.
Dept of Public Works (Guest)
These lights have been called into Central Hudson for repair - there are electrical issues they need to solve before the City Electrician can replace the lights.

annie , if it was a sensor to heat or light shouldnt someone from central hudson or whoever is responsible go take a look and get in touch with the person responsible...?????????? to tell one of your neighbors or anyone to bear with it is not the correct thing to do..... due to the recent shooting who would want to go out in the dark due to street lights not working.....annette i hope this gets resolved for you and annie cap locks on are one of clix-fix issues not to do.....its apalling that a senior citizen is told to write down the pole numbers... what is this area coming to??????
