There is a police car parked on the south side of Wooster Street 24 hr/day since last week, with the engine idling. This is very disturbing and I feel less safe.

Yes, it's due to ebola surveillance and quarantine

I know of no visit by NHPD to the Wooster Sq neighborhood regarding this, nor any letter to residents. i'm confident i am safe here and have no worries about ebola, but when the officials tell reporters anything they think sounds good -- and this happens a lot -- it is really annoying.
"Harp said local police visited neighborhoods near Edwards Street and Wooster Square Friday to alert residents that there were individuals in their neighborhood under monitoring and to distribute a letter from Harp “that we are on top of it, and that they are safe,” Harp said."
