Description

There is a traffic sensor on northbound Childs Ave for the light at Garrett Road which allows traffic exiting Childs to get a green light to get onto Garrett, and this works just fine.

However, I have observed traffic entering Childs from Garrett in the southbound direction causing the traffic light to trigger unnecessarily, when no traffic was on northbound Childs. I'm rather sure it is not a case of cars taking too wide a turn, as I've turned there myself and remained as far right as possible and the light still changes.

It's not a big deal, in this case the light for Garrett remains red only a short time, but it does cause a useless stop for Garrett.

If it can be corrected with a simple adjustment then I'm all for it; I don't necessarily think it's worth tearing up the road for a major project.
