Description

Not sure what can be done about this, but every time there are heavy rains, the Cooper River floods the bike trail near the train trestle overpass (near the dog park). It makes the path impassable. It would be great if the town could raise the asphalt so flooding doesn't become an issue.

I don't mean to sound glib but it rains and the river rises. The ground cannot absorb but so much water.

This morning (July 29 2013 8:30 a.m.), I made it through because I remembered where the bike path is and I had the landmarks of the train trestle itself. The water was about 24" deep on the bike path!!!!
