Description

In regards to the traffic pattern at the corner of Old Springhouse ln (OSL) / Dunwoody Park (DP) and Chamblee Dunwooody rd (CDR). Currently both osl and DP have a dedicated left turn lane onto CDR and a combined straight & right turn lane. Right turning Traffic is often significantly backed up behind traffic going stating turning
Since the majority of the traffic from OSL and DP at CDR is either turning right or left, NOT going straight across the intersection, the traffic stripes should be changed to accommodate this pattern . By changing the left turn lanes into left turn & straight lanes and the right lanes into right turn only, no additional traffic congestion would happen. However, a dedicated right turn lane would allow more traffic to turn onto CDR easier.
