consider maybe that we are not getting what we want from city Hall because we are not United in our request. The garbage is not just from Street vendors it's from adult and children customers and from people who are not customers of local businesses. Anything that makes it easier for people to dispose of their garbage, along with education and reminders will decrease garbage in the public way. A cleaner looking Gand Ave makes it more likely people will walk, the more foot traffic the safer the neighborhood and the more people walk and feel safe the more potential customers you'll have. You will be too busy selling to notice the street vendors.

Are area residents doing their part? Yes, for the second time since September the parents of children at Columbus School, the principal and staff will be cleaning up on Grand Ave on Saturday 10/18 in the morning . We respectfully ask businesses across the street to join us by cleaning up in front of your store. Together we can keep Grand Ave clean and perhaps get city Hall to make it easier to keep it clean. Thanks.

Still no garbage can near the bus stop.

The used car newspaper box is gone but the La Voz box is still at the corner of Grand and Blatchley and is still being used as a garbage can. Can the owner please be asked to remove it?
