I sat at that light for 5 minutes the other day trying to turn left onto Swede (toward Norristown). I couldn't make it to the left turn lane during the first light cycle, because traffic was backed up. When I was able to pull up to the line, I waited at the red left turn light when there was no traffic in the opposite direction. Then, I watched as the left arrow was skipped, and everyone was able to go but me. After being stopped at the line through two full light cycles, I got a green light.
I would like to be able to turn left from Germantown when there's no opposing traffic.
