Description

I live near the Library and like to take nice peaceful walks on the Perkiomen trail. To get to the trail I need to cross Main St. I go to one of the clearly marked crosswalks and stand with one foot in the street, waiting and waiting for someone to follow the PA law and stop for me. People only stop (to follow PA LAW requiring drivers to yield to pedestrians in the crosswalk) rarely, less than 10% of the time and by the time I get to the Perkiomen trail I am filled with anger.
I have never seen police enforcing the pedestrian law, or enforcing the 25 MPH speed limit through town.
