The pretty roof on the ferry building is also getting faded. Is this something you paint every once in a while? As the first thing ferry visitors see of Vallejo it would be nice to make a good impression.

Thanks for reporting! Facilities Maintenance is aware of the issue and is scheduling a contractor to come out and repair the pole, as well as replace the flag.

Thanks Courtney, Yes, I know they know, because I have been telling them for months that this is an issue again. I just decided to the see-click-fix route this time because I am tired of directly reporting it to Richard, Tam and Fiona . This is also an ongoing issues because it took a long time to get those new flags up there and it has only been about 8 months and they are broken again. They have not been right for a number of years now. Please choose a vendor that can promise that their flags will last in that environment! it is horrid to see that sad flag every day when coming in on the ferry and it does not give a good impression of our city to visitors.

The flag poles and flags will be removed from the ferry building by February 27th. It has been found that they are damaging the roofing structure of the building. If you have more questions about this please call the Maintenance Division at 707-648-4557. Thanks again for using SeeClickFix!
