I reported this one as well today. It is looking worse each day. Along with the chairs and couch there are now mattresses. It is sad to see that this original post was posted back on 2014-10-04. This is sad to think that the city isn't willing to do anything about this. This old building that housed EDS for which I worked for will never be sold or leased to anyone that has to look at this trash in the parking lot. Lets get this fixed once and for all!
The drop box(s) need to be removed from this location. It is an ongoing issue. There is also one across the Street at Kroger's as well. Free bulk waste sticker's should be provided in more accessible locations to low income folks.
Interesting that this was cleaned up for a brief moment this past Friday (March 27) but as soon as the mess was removed someone brought a leather couch. Over the weekend people added more furniture to the pile, enough for a living room and a man cave. I agree with Terry Chapman that the real solution needs to be remove the donation boxes from this parking lot and the Kroger parking lot as well.
