Parking has always been an issue on the first block of Maple Street between Johnson and Woodland Avenue . In the past month it has become worse with many cars parking in the corners on the white box and crosswalks.In the past 2 -3 2 handicap parking spots were issued . The one for 38 Maple St. A blue SUV plate #3881 Is a for a lady that doesn't even drive but her kids do they park her vehicle in another spot holding spots then parks later at night in her handicap parking spot. There is also constant cars with out of state license plates continuously parked everyday that apparently live here .Another neighbor has a No parking sign on her yard entrance which is not even a garage so no one dares to park there which is one spot less . She shouldn't be allowed to have a sign on her yard when she already has a handicap spot in front of her house too. .Please the city should really consider permit parking and placing the white line down so parking could be fare . The parking in the corner boxes is safety hazard because it is too close to the stop sign and crosswalks and it's illegal parking spots.
