I came home to a citation stating I had left trash outside my house. I am a new tenant at 2213 Fitz and the house to my east is undergoing a massive and slow gutting. There has been a pot-a-potty on the MAIN SIDEWALK for over two weeks. There are two new huge clear trash bags containing all sorts of garbage that looks like it came from the gutting - insulation materials and debris from the old tenant. They have fined me $50 for someone elses mess. I was away on vacation until today and came home to this mess. The sidewalk is always littered with bits of garbage that I always clean up. I was not here on Monday and therefore did not leave the trash bags and they were not there when I left the state last Friday the 26th Sept. Can you help me as a new tenant and new to Philly- needless to say I am not impressed with this neighborhood. But we are settling here and want to make it work.
