Description

There are 3 lanes at the intersection of 615 & 84 (northbound). Traffic backs up horribly between 5pm & 6pm. Make the far right lane a RIGHT turn ONLY between 5&6pm Mon-Fri. They did it on 615 southbound in the AM @ Tyler Blvd.

I totally agree. No need to spend big dollars on installing a new right turn only lane (although, it would be nice)...simple signage designating the curb lane on N/B 615 as right turn only during peak times would do a lot to alleviate the daily traffic back up (and it would be far easier than trying to get people who are going straight to use their heads and utilize the left through lane!).

Been driving this way for over 3 years, complained to the traffic department back then and it still needs to be adressed. There is not enough straight through traffic to justify both lanes as a straight lane during night rush hour. Traffic light on 615 North also needs to last longer, barely any traffic on RT 84, why do they get the longer light ?

Moved to Mentor 2 yrs. ago and now sit at this intersection every night at 5:45pm to turn right and it's very annoying. Although people going straight should use the left lane, they never do and it causes a back up. Please consider the right lane option to be a turning lane only during the night rush hour.

I agree. This is usually backed up to the new Avery Dennison Light and it takes a long time to get through this light if trying to make a right hand turn
