This club was just reported for the same offence just a couple of months ago and was fined by the city. I have personally been dealing with problems with the El Tucanazo Bar for about two years. They have received numerous citations from noise ordinance violations,illegal dumping of trash,fined by the Raleigh city fire marshal for code violations,firearm violations,you name it and they have done it.My neighbors and I on Bellaire avenue have taken this matter(El Tucanazo Bar being a public nuisance) to the Raleigh city council twice without any satisfaction.The bar has also been taken to court three times by the city for noise ordinance violations and found guilty.The last was in August of this year and the judge put the owner on a one year probation,fine,and ordered her not to play the club music over 45 decibels after 11pm but yet I still hear it every night in my home. The owner of the club has received several citations even since the last court date but yet officers were in our neighborhood just this weekend for loud music and cited the club with another noise ordinance violation. When is this going to end???.I am following up with the city attorney on this matter as of this week. It is beyond me how this nightclub gets away with breaking the law the way they do,I am a Raleigh native and a business owner and I am personally fed up with the way this matter has been handled by the city. It is blantely clear that the owner has no respect for the law and does not intend to abide by them at any time.I know this is beyond the subject of garbage on the ground at the El Tucanazo Bar but i wanted to give everyone that reads this the history and the frustration that we have been dealing with as a neighborhood with the El Tucanazo Bar.
