If the vehicle appears to be operable and is not wrecked, dismantled, partially dismantled, or discarded and either the Registration or the Inspection is expired, then it is not a Junk Motor Vehicle. Being operable or appearing to be operable (ie: no flat tires, no drive-train hanging under the car, etc.) and having one expired sticker is not a Junk Motor Vehicle. Being wrecked, dismantled, partially dismantled, or discarded and either the Registration or the Inspection have expired is a Junk Motor Vehicle.

The drive shaft ( I think that's what it's called) is hanging from the bottom of it and it looks like they are using it for storage and the grass underneath it has gotten really tall

The Code Officer reported that both the registration and inspection stickers are current, so this is not a junk vehicle. This is a civil case, not a code case. Closed.
