It is obnoxious-- THE NOISE OF BIKES! If they want to blast and blare and blow their brains out with noise why not go to race tracks? Instead of making life so unpleasant for folks simply enjoying the peace and quiet of their family neighborhood- the birdsong -- the laughter of children -- when did you last listen to the songs of warblers and blackbirds -- They ARE here you know in our own backyards, but can we HEAR them?

For me the pollution crime is Nica's delivery trucks with their diesel fumes and loud vibrating engines which shudder the timbers of my house -- but the bikes! Surely if the police can't help ME they can help the East Rock community-- Surely?

LOST CAT I am still searching for my little calico cat who didn';t come home three days ago. She has been taken before, despite wearing a colllar and bell.-- she is so sweet, gentle and affectionaate that people just want her. But she has babies -- and they want her.-- badly - and so do we who have seen her through dangerous birthings and infections. In fact she is due for another shot at the vet this coming week

I think that is why the Northeast is blessed with seasons. I heard them, too, and I was inside a restaurant. Later there was this car--saying notice me! Notice me!.

Why is there no enforcement? If I gave you a license number, could there be enforcement?

It's a significant quality of life issue in New Haven, noise and trash everywhere. Are there no serious and meaningful ways to address these problems?

It was not a threat

Because 1) most of them are cops 2) No decibal meters in police cars 3) too much trouble when there is other crime in progress 4) bikes could take off causing a danger to others

The warm weather is back and the noisy attention seekers are back as well -- roaring down city streets, way too loud, dirt bikes, harleys, and the sleek racing style bikes that must have some aftermarket component that make these bikes grow extra shrill and loud.
