This has been an ongoing issue for years. The backyard is full of junk, too.

We need to have bylaws that prohibit people from parking on front lawns and trashing their yards.

Can this issue be reopened?

I went through this same issue many years ago with a few Stoneham residents. There is/was a town rule/law that no more than one (1) unregistered vehicle can be left on property & no vehicle can be parked in Stoneham weighing more than 16K pounds. There's a property on Pleasant street that's been a junk & unregistered auto dump for years. It's still there. If you miss it your blind.

Has the Board of Health or Stoneham Inspectional Service addressed this? I think this issue needs to be reopened.

This house on the corner of Main and Gorham needs to be fined. It is a junk yard with vans parked on front lawn. It makes our town look junky to say the least as does 130 Main Street

I agree this site is a problem and I am glad I am not the immediate neighbor. But what I don't know is the legality of parking on a lawn. Do the bylaws regulate how much paved or unpaved parking you can have at a residence? I mean, if all the vehicles are registered, is it then legal? Does it matter that it is a lawn? Would it be driveway if it had gravel instead of mud? I think maybe curb-cuts are regulated, but that area has no curbs.

I think the people living there may be paralyzed. Saw a van door open a week ago and there was no drivers seat and maybe hand pedals.

All the vehicles with the exception of one are registered. There is no restriction in the bylaws to parking on the lawn.
