I've seen that light turn green in all four directions, and subsequently there was an accident,. I've mentioned it to the city, but I don't think they did anything..

It will only get backed up more with the new Tim's open. They did a good job of diverting drive thru traffic by putting it the other way, but I still see it backed up sometimes. The other side is worse, especially if you need to turn left...good luck on that one. I'm a patient person but this is ridiculous. They need to do something about this intersection,(more of a T ) it's too close to the other intersection on 6th and marquis and there are the different lanes and merges and it gets crazy trying to turn left coming out of the co-op after getting gas, almost impossible.

@Bo, i understand what you are saying and agree but i am actually referring the intersection at 6th ave and marquis, not the next one over :)

The office building across from the new Tim's has close to 200 people. We have no crosswalk and no one stops to let you walk across the street. It is very dangerous. FORGET about turning left on 5th AVE after you get gas at the Coop. Sadly, there will likely be many more accidents.

I think a lot of you people forget that if you're at Co-Op and need to turn left during rush hour traffic that there is an intersection ONE BLOCK west!!! Like HOOOLY, let cause accidents and run people over because you're far to lazy to drive one block and use traffic lights. Simple solution to the Co-Op B.S, people just need to grow some brains.
As for that intersection, there's nothing that can fix it, the city engineers clearly failed University, and should probably work at Mcdonalds, just like the "bridge inspector" we had.
I don't think I've seen traffic counters in that area, so the city has obviously not looked at that area of town, since everyone is busy complaining about every other place.

wahoa P.A. has rush hour traffic.? It takes tops 15min. to get to anywhere in the city at any give time of the day. lol

Lana: are you referring to the Tribal Council Building?

being that there is an intersection right there, a CrossWalk is automatically assumed.

I suggest you contact the police service and ask them to look at the issue with possible enforcement.

one day of giving tickets would get us a new bridge!
