Description
New Halogen lights on the Chapel Square building are now facing down Crown St and blinding drivers heading toward Church St. You can't even watch the light change when they are on. They need to be adjusted on the roof to face downward. Not to mention that they are stadium lights that are creating way too much light noise in the area.

Robert - i haven't noticed that these are blinding for drivers - but i did notice that there was a lot more light than there was 6 months ago. if you have a chance to take a picture to show what you mean, that could help the SCF community rally support to your ticket.
the next time i'm near that area at night i'll take a look as well and hopefully i'll "see the light" - pardon the pun

robert - i think they are fairly bright as well, and just need to be pointed downwards. additionally, there appeared to be one out on friday night above the residential entrance on crown (if memory serves)
rush hour traffic will be in the dark after this weekend; i'll make the call this AM to the property owner/manager

Robert,
I'm leaving a message now for the property managers again; I'll try to make a visit to their office at the old mall today/tomorrow
best,

robert - i found out last week that the light over the wine thief is not controlled by PMC, but instead is operated by the Omni. i had not, with all of the holidays, had a chance yet to stop by the omni and talk to someone in operations. i will try my best to do that this weekend and see if we can't get it tilted downwards.
best,
doug

i left a message today with the omni engineering department and with PMC property to figure out whose responsibility this is. this is my 3rd time doing both of these, but the first time i was passed along to the head of engineering at the omni. hopefully we will get this done!
Robert/Rob - thanks for being persistent, and I'm sorry it has taken so long to address. If it were a city building, this would have been handled quite quickly and differently.
Best,

i spoke with engineering at the omni yesterday (they called me back!). and they said it is likely their issue and they'd address it yesterday or today.
here's hoping! next time i'm walking around down there - i'll check them out. and please close it if it's (finally) taken care of!
