Description
Arbor Vitae Dr intersects with Pinemont Dr, where the Houston Public Library - Collier Regional is located, and many vehicles come down this street driving at high speeds. This street is one of four streets that lead to major roadways. Over 600 single-family dwellings are within this subdivision. Many children frequent the library in the afternoon by walking down Arbor Vitae and Pinemont from nearby schools. Also, many drivers exiting the Library's parking lot face speeding motorists and must proceed with extreme caution when making a turn onto Arbor Vitae Drive. Requesting for installment of traffic calming devices such as speed bumps to provide a safer road for all community members using all modes of transportation; pedestrians, cyclists, motorists.
