I think this recommendation is warranted. We are also residents in Forest West, and we walk our children in a stroller to the library constantly. My neighbor rides her bicycle with her two year old to the library frequently as well. Because the sidewalks are in such disrepair (-- there's actually NO sidewalk between the first house closest to the library and the library's parking lot), and because there are no ramps between sidewalks, we are often forced to walk in the street. Many drivers ignore the speed limit.

This is a great project for the whole neighborhood. Safety for all!

Thank you for the link to the list of options for traffic management. I see 2/3 of the subdivision must be in support as one of the criteria for installment. I will leave this up to the Forest West Civic Association to decide on whether to actively pursue this course. Thank you for the follow-up. -M
