Description

See issue I reported 6/12/14
Issue ID: 1121236

I am requesting to have this issue re-opened.

This issue was closed on 6/19/2014 and nothing has been done to remove this tree. According to my neighbor someone from maintenance did come out and look at the tree, but ONLY trimmed a few branches to keep termites from jumping onto its neighboring tree, he also chopped up the bottom roots at the bottom and now this tree is leaning. The maintenance worker was careless about the job he did. This tree is very dangerous and not safe, it needs to be removed before it falls and hurts other property or a human being. I am sure the city does not want this to be held liable or pay for property damages if something occurs.

It has been over 4 months now this tree is decaying and infested with termites. You can see from the photo that the inside of bark of the trunk has been eaten away all the way around the inside portion and all along the trunks roots.

My neighbor and I are very concerned about the tree beside it as well the safety our children and others who enjoy strolling or walking their dogs along the sidewalk.
