Description
Someone who is in authority had a working water faucet removed this faucet was one of 3 working faucets in the park and it has 6 water faucets only 3 of them have worked for the past 3 years that I have been going to the park why dont they fix them so people can use them,,, no they want to retaliate because some one may or may not have used the water. it was a good faucet it had a stainless steel drinking bowl on a chain for animals such as when dogs get thursty they could get a drink ...now they cant. find out who ordered its removal and fire him we dont need people in the goverment retaliating against the puplic I would like to see that faucet re- installed and the cemement platform set back in place (it is now resting by a tree) and the stainless bowl set back in place. also I would like a e mail sent back to me as to who ordered its removal and what action your office has done to see that this person never serves in any capacity as a city employee

As for the dog bowl, we did not install it, Maximo is not a dog park and unattended items left in parks are removed and stored for thirty days then disposed of. We recommend pet owners purchase a collapsible bowl to bring with them. Please see this link:
http://www.crestline.com/collapsible-pet-bowl-106808.aspx?gclid=CNyL9Nmu6MACFWoR7AodcDUAow They are very inexpensive.
We constantly have to balance the benefit of all our amenities for well intentioned patrons as opposed to those who abuse them. There is water available (working faucets) in several locations in the park. Additional feedback may be sent to StPeteParksRec@stpete.org"

Thank you for your past submission via SeeClickFix. The City of St Petersburg periodically reviews past reports that are made from citizens within our city limits, and in an effort to clean-up old issues that were resolved some time ago, we are marking as 'closed' those issues that were submitted in the past for which the work has been completed or the issue has otherwise been resolved.
If you think for any reason that the issue you submitted in the past might still be unresolved, please feel free to submit a new report with the SeeClickFix St. Pete website and we will make sure the issue is directed to the appropriate City department to be addressed as soon as possible.
Thank you again - Sincerely,
