Description

Thank you Firstly, Mr. Martello for your quick response to my and the neighbor's concerns regarding the above property. I did a little research in the Town Code Book. In Chapter XVII-Property Maintenance. This property is clearly violating the rules set forth. I hope that the town will be swift and correct this problem. Just to tell briefly, when cleaning my own property, I must of picked up 100 rusted nails, and other debris from this property in my ally way. The back door window is broken, therefore anyone can go in-maybe the Heath/Police Departments be told as well. Lots of garbage in the backyard as well as overgrowth as in front as well. A worker may only come maybe once every three months for a day to work on 197 Laurel Avenue. Another neighbor(hear say)- told me that The Government Agency OCEA was there, because on that day, the man working there where illegal immigrant and not having any certification in construction building and working under very dangerous conditions. In closing ,I again am politely asking that the town enforce the rules to the highest extent. The owner of 197 Laurel Avenue has previously been told and warned. We need to clean up this town and be firm, it is just not fair to all the tax payers. Lately I have seen a lot of homes a wreck-like something out of Detroit. Please, please help keep our Town nice. Thank you for your time. Respectfully, A concerned citizen of Kearny
