Description
The convergence of Poplar St, Mordecai Dr and Courtland Dr causes a 5 point intersection. Drivers coming north on Mordecai Dr appear to have the "right of way", but they cannot safely see around the corner to turn left onto Courtland Dr., as they cannot see oncoming traffic yet are forced to yield on the left turn. Traffic on Poplar St cannot see well enough around the corner, yet they have to yield to traffic coming north on Mordecai Dr. Pedestrians added into the mix (without any crosswalks) are also unable to see traffic coming from various directions. Make this a 5 way stop before somebody gets killed, please.

This is an excellent point and very dangerous intersection. People run these stop signs (and stop for no sign) all the time, due to the obscurity of the right-of-way.
As an alternative solution, this intersection seems to be large enough for a small traffic circle, which would create a better sense of place. By comparison, the traffic circle at the intersection of Pullen Drive and Stinson Drive is an even smaller intersection by area than Poplar/Courtland/Mordecai.
