Description

The potholes on Franklin Avenue, especially those between Nicollet Ave and Chicago Ave are life-threatening. This street is a main route in/out of Whittier for cyclists traveling east to west (or vica versa), but it is also a high traffic and narrow car route. Ideally, a bike lane should be assigned so bikers can avoid the hazards of being doored and/or suddenly pushed to the side of the road (where the very deep potholes are) by negligent vehicles. This a deadly situation that should be fixed by the summer... Please?
