WE NEED TO KEEP THIS STOP SIGN HERE WHEN THE 100 CONSTRUCTION IS FINISHED! THIS STOP SIGN PREVENTS BACK-UP ONTO 100. WHEN THERE IS NO STOP SIGN, EVERYONE EXITING 422 JUST CLOG UP 100 and THERE IS CRAZY AMOUNTS OF TRAFFIC! THIS STOP SIGN IS A GOOD THING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! KEEP IT HERE AFTER CONSTRUCTION IS FINISHED!!!!!!!!!!!!!

While I completely agree that "yield" is poorly understood concept, it is common driving courtesy to switch lanes so people can actually have to opportunity to merge. I know that when I'm driving, I switch to the left lane to accommodate those who are trying to merge onto the highway. Of course the drivers on route 100 have the right of way, but everyone should be aware of their surroundings. If there are people trying to merge and no one is in the left lane, switch lanes. It doesn't take much effort.
