I kind of like it when these sorts of spaces revert to some natural look. I know this is probably in between that state and the manicured mowed grass state. But I feel like when it just get's mowed once or twice a year it only looks nice once or twice a year. If it can revert to a more natural prairie grass I think it would like nice. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know whether that will actually happen with time, or if it needs a more concerted human effort.
I'm curious what the regulations / plan for maintenance is for this space.
