Description

There's a pedestrian crosswalk in the median between the church at 2723 Clark Ave. and their parking lot. Immediately to the right (east) of that crosswalk, there's a large cedar tree that blocks pedestrians' view of oncoming traffic. It's just a matter of time before someone steps out in front of an oncoming car that was blocked by the tree. The city recently removed a dead crepe myrtle to the left (west) of that crosswalk. Could the city transplant the beautiful cedar tree from its current location to the former location of the crepe myrtle? In any case, the cedar tree needs to be removed to prevent a tragedy.
