What are the legalities of one using their house (or rather drive way) to operate a dance studio? Does one need a permit for such operations? The residents operate a dance studio (Mexican dancing/baile folklorico) during the weekdays with dance practice from roughly 4pm to 8pm. While the noise level is well within the acceptable range, the street is filled with many cars taking up the residential parking. It should also be noted that these classes are taking place outside on the driveway. Can one have these type of events as long as it considered practice?
