Yes, why was it closed? It's still there!

LPS should respond; however in review it appears there was a date threshold and the representative basically did a bulk close on everything. In support, there were several that were aged reports and no action, response, or closure. That made the total issue list long and appeared as if city officials don't care. This gives a more fresh-start and I believe there's a good effort attempt plan to stay on top of issues better.

Should that be the case, the down side is some issues are being closed without any backing.

Your efforts to review and reopen issues allows everyone ownership. I for one am glad to see you're reopening issues as needed.

"They" respond only in words making us think they're doing their job. Proof is in the putting. Glad someone like you and others are on the ball keeping (or at least trying to) our government honest.

Let's see - answer to your question - stupidity, sloth, they don't care, too many other issues that are more important to contend with (this is an excuse, excuses are lies and liars are cowards)... maybe if we close it people will give up, I could go on and on... typical lazy government.

Code Compliance sent a letter to the property owner on August 26th. The owner has 30 days to make corrections to the property. If it is not done within the 30 days a ticket can be issued as well as court order compliance.

Was the letter certified? Letters are easily ignored and excused as in "I never received it". The neighborhood will keep an eye on the situation. Hopefully this issue will then be resolved and closed soon. Thank you for your cooperation.

The ordinance states first class mail delivery for just that reason. People will not sign for certified mail. The City does not have to prove you received it, it is assumed you did and City reacts to that assumption.

Okay so now it is OCTOBER 22nd and NOTHING has been done regarding this outbuilding! Was there a ticket issued and/or a court order compliance since the shed is still there? Please advise. Thank you!

The owner asked for an extension and it was granted by Code Compliance until November 30th.

Oh how nice for them. Wow!

Accept the line in the sand.

Took the eyesore down and MOVED it behind their garage! Did not properly dispose of it by having the massive debris hauled away. Just stacked the rotting wood in layers. STILL remains a hazard for all the little neighborhood kids who play in this back yard...!

They finally cleaned up all the debris except where the original foundation was. This can be closed. Thank you!
