The bridge looks to be the same size as before, meaning two lanes. The only reason it was restricted to one lane was because of faults in the underlying structure.

Although there is signage noting that the Dorlan Mill bridge is one lane, the signs are not appropriately placed. On the Dorlan Mill Road side, coming down the hill to the bridge, the sign is posted too far from the bridge entrance and too high--it is easily missed; this sign is a great addition, but needs to be moved closer to the bridge entrance/approaching the bridge. On the 282/Creek Road side the same large One Lane Bridge sign exists, but if faces the woods, not the drivers; this needs to be a double sided sign, perpendicular to the roadway so that drivers can clearly see the sign BEFORE turning. The traffic backs up during the morning and evening commute hours making for confusing passage and order of traffic over the bridge. It would be especially helpful, although understandably difficult to do at this point, to have visibility on both sides--the lack of visibility on both sides adds to the problem as drivers cannot see if drivers are approaching....the Dorlan Mill side is very low and drivers cannot see over the bridge to see if anyone is coming on or on the bridge, and the 282/Creek Road side cannot see down into the waiting vehicle area on the Dorlan Mill side. It's an excellent passageway, and becoming busier...streamlining the signage, and hopefully visibility would be helpful and make for less stressed drivers approaching.
