Description
Someone left a car tire on the curb near 37 Alden Street. Does this get picked up with bulk pickup?
There are several more tires on the northbound side of Wethersfield Ave as you approach Wylls (Between Wylls and Stonington). They have been there for almost a month.
Thanks for your help! Not sure why jerks leave their waste on the curb without making arrangements for pickup.
If it wasn't a car tire, I'd simply grab them and throw into our condo dumpster. I don't think you can simply dispose of car tires with household waste though.

I believe that the locations need to be entered individually. I don't think anyone reads the text section. If there are a lot on a street, you could type in a address range. On Shultas, we have have a mattress problem. I am submitting these almost every week. We have few tires here and there.
Cheryl, you have motivated me to contact Big Brothers/Sisters directly.

There are certain properties that are not on the list for trash/bulk removal under Public Works, which you can view and search at this link: http://gis1.hartford.gov/publicworks/services/
37 Alden St and the addresses in that section are not serviced by the City, so the Property Management would have to deal with this issue. However, if we were to put in a request, an inspector will go on site and provide a violation notice that will be sent to who ever manages/own the property to remove the items.
