Description
Hurricane Irene destroyed a large section of sidewalk (311 cases C1-1-686909843 and 1-1-690358532). DDC came by 9/10/11 and left a notice (#72) that they would repair. 1 week later, pedestrians are still walking in traffic because sidewalk is impassible and creates a dangerous situation.

Pedestrians walking in narrow street are a real hazard, especially at night. This should be repaired!

Resolved. After a call to City Council Member, Jumaane Williams's office and an email to Melissa Severe, Director of Constituent Services at New York City Council, received a nice note from DD&C that they'd just awarded the repair contracts. Sure enough, first thing Monday AM the crew was there and by that evening the repair was complete.
Thank you to all.
