Description

This signal is very problematic for traffic. It is often red for through traffic on Lexington St even though there is little or no side street traffic. This causes traffic turning onto Lexington St to back up into Trapelo Rd. It also causes traffic headed to Trapelo Rd to sometimes miss that light which requires them to wait another 2-3 minutes for the next green. There is also 5-10 seconds of "all red" time when no traffic or pedestrians can go. This is wasted green time and unnecessary. Please fix this signal so it is only red when there is traffic on the side streets.
