At night the traffic light at Laburnum and Saunders stays green for the west-bound left hand turn lane for four times as long the east-bound lane. The left hand turn light will stay green for one minute with no cars activating the pressure plates, while seven or eight cars are waiting at the east-bound red light. That light will then only say green for fifteen seconds before going red again for the west-bound turn lane (again without cars activating the pressure plates).
