Description

The four traffic signs on 12th Street NE identifying the contra flow bike lane on G Street NE need moving because they can not be seen by oncoming traffic. The current placement of these signs is too far from the intersection to be well noticed by oncoming traffic at the intersection. Two new signposts need to be placed closer to the intersection on both the north and south sides of G on 12th Street NE. The current signpost also have RPP signage, is appropriately angled toward the roadway for those seeking to park their cars, and do not need moving. The one way and bike signs are also not visible to traffic because of the successful efforts of homeowners growing the trees in their tree boxes. PLEASE do NOT trim these trees. Just move the four traffic signs to new posts closer to the intersection so it is easier for them to be seen.
