Haha I was wondering when the "parking in the front yard" tattletales would start after that ridiculous piece of legislation passed. Good work, people with nothing to do!
as long as they are not parking in my front yard. The car seems to be in good repair, registered and not stolen. I rather they park in the yard than on a narrow street in a curve.
If I was so concerned about property values being degraded because of where someone parked on their property, I would man up. Then I would walk to their house with the above picture and tell them they can't do what they want.
Exactly. What's the deal with using SCF for tattling on someone rather than being a member of your community and talking with your neighbors about your concern. This area doesn't have HOAs and thank God they don't. Don't be an HOA, be a neighbor.
If people don't want to live by the city rules, then don't live in a city in neighborhoods and trash up your property while running down the entire community's property values - move to JOCO. If the defenders of the offender hate SCF so much, why are you trolling the people who are reporting ACTUAL issues? There is a city law in place that is being broken. Why not let the city decide how to handle the issue?
They aren't reporting actual issues that need any intervention from authorities unless they've already talked to their neighbors. Call the non-emergency RPD number if you're that much of a citizen you need to snitch. Be a part of your community, not some scaredy cat shut in who is too afraid to get to know their neighbors. This is a joke and not something the city needs to spend time policing. Dog whistling all around.

The frontyard parking ordinance only applies to the sw Raleigh overlay district and it is not enforceable citywide:
