Description

Every light between 285 East Bound Exit and McDonald's takes super long to change and even high beaming the light doesn't force it to change. McDonald's light has taken up to 10 minutes to change. I work overnight which has very little traffic and can take 4 minutes to change when only cars going across are there and no cars on the sides. I live in Bartow County and have lights that use sensors and weight sensors that will change if no other cars are on the road but you and change every light at the same time. I can go from my home to Wal-mart that is about 8 miles away in half the time it takes to get from the East Bridge across the Diamond and into my building for work. The time to distance is horrible. I have had 9 lights all turn green at the same time at home and the speed of the road is the same. I think your community could afford to have better equipment on the road to tell if any cars are really there. Please try to time the lights better and sync the lights to run in an team format instead of having to fight every light to move forward. IF you pace the lights better the traffic will be progressed in an smooth format and gridlock and frustration will be reduced. I come to work at 4AM and the time it takes to go only to the light past McDonald's is dismal. This is not acceptable.
