Actually, I just drove by on my commute home and 2 garage bays were open and 6 cars out there. :-(

Its obvious that the guy doesn't care.. he just pays his ticket (which he probably was able to pay in one repair). Today this guy had several cars out front and two bays open with cars. The city needs to do more than just ticket this guy. Its clear ticketing does not work to prevent stuff like this, as people will pay the ticket, wait a week or two, and just resume what they were doing before once the dust settles.

I drove by yesterday as I was heading home and he's still doing repairs, however, he appears to be keeping his door shut now, probably due to the cold. I saw two cars come out of the bays and payment swapped. It also causes congestion on the street because there are always cars backing in and out of there. This has been ongoing for several years. I don't know why the city can't just shut him down or make him register the business and pay taxes.

I am not quite sure about auto repair but I do know they use this place to install car alarms and that it is probably connected to Castillo's Electronics on Broadway.

ISD informs me that an inspection was conducted and a report filed on 9/17/2015. The tenant was cited and there has been no recent activity.

Are you sure? I saw cars being worked on just last week...Different cars all the time. Not to mention on Saturday I had to wait about 5 minutes for numerous cars to go in and out...

Tenant ordered to cease any auto repair use. Castillo Electronics has applied for an occupancy permit to install stereos into cars. Permit pending.
