Description
I reported this dangerous turn a little while ago but it was closed because it was found that this was a private way. I don't understand, is Allen street or charlestown street a private way? It's certainly not Allen street, why couldn't something be put there if the city owns it?
And even if Charlestown street is private, who owns it and why is there no indication that the street is private? Shouldn't Allen and linden be marked as dead ends then?
There are fewer cars coming from the target side now that they've blocked their entrance, but it's still very dangerous with no signage.

Charlestown Street (From Allen Street to Merriam Street) is listed as a private way. A request was submitted to the traffic department for a review of whether or not additional signage was needed. We will update as soon as we aree given the response

I should mention that in my original ticket I mentioned that there is a mount on the utility pole at the outside corner of Allen and Charlestown that looks like it might have been for a convex mirror that would help drivers see what's around the corner. Putting something like that on the pole would certainly help. Does the city have the ability to put things on utility poles?
