Description
My child and I were crossing the street when a truck comes barreling at high speed without slowing down around the corner and I let out a scream and rushed to put myself between the truck n my child. There are a big bunch of trees there so you cannot see going towards 9th Avenue and vehicles cannot see around the corner unless they yield or stop: which is why either a yield or stop sign should be put up there. If there was 1 there then I would not be sitting here with torn knee ligaments and pulled calve muscle to the ankle but as a parent I would do it all over again but as a citizen: I demand a sign be put there asap...

Signs or not, many drivers in this city do not obey them. Watch the traffic at any intersection, and then count how many cars turn right without stopping when required. It is really pitiful, and what is more disturbing, is that the police do not enforce the traffic code.
Why bother, when they can fine one transport truck $13,000 dollars in one traffic stop. Are they too busy, understaffed, or just complacent - - or is there something wrong with their leadership system? Whatever the problem is, they are not enforcing traffic laws properly. If anyone wishes to dispute this I would really like to read your argument; especially if you are a member of the Prince Albert Police Service.

so true... perhaps they are busy with more important issues?
I'd like to hear the Chief justify the lack of Traffic Enforcement.
after Cst Willer retired, Cpl Court took over with zeal, but I think she was busted down after her accident.
Too bad, she was excellent in Traffic.
