Grafitti on broken down Carmen pier near 4th street bridge. Looks like gang related graffiti and can be seen clearly from mission bay park promenade. It is right on the water.

Not clear why this was closed. The graffiti is still there. Please explain.

This graffiti needs to be cleaned/repainted by the Port. The old Carmen's restaurant is Port property. However, the Port has trouble getting their workers to go out to this pier because it is so dilapidated and very unsafe for anyone to be out there. Calling the Port will be your best bet to getting this cleaned up but in my experience it will take a few attempts.
