It's to the point now where cars, school buses etc. have to swerve around it just to get by. Please bump this up in priority before someone gets hurt here.
I live on Brook Cross, so I see people go down the street all the time. In the dark, this pothole is a particular hazard because there are no street lights around it. Also, it is causing fractures in the rest of the road, and so it is hard for kids to ride their bikes. The hole itself seems to be getting deeper too. it is constantly full of water.
This pothole is horrible and it is caused by state trucks, mail trucks, delivery trucks and regular street traffic! It needs to be repaired. Please help fix the pothole - DOT trucks have been in the neighborhood but have neglected this HUGE pothole!
As a cyclist, I have a hard time finding a path to get through this stretch of road on Brook Cross. Not only does the pothole span the road, but the extensive debris from the pothole is a hazard.
The pothole on Brook Cross Drive has reached a point of being unsafe. This is in a residential neighborhood where people walk and ride their bikes. Cars swerving to avoid the pothole are dangerous.
I just reported this to the DOT website. I encourage others to do the same. Apparently only the city of Raleigh uses this ClickFix website. I also reported 2 street lights blinking in the Kildaire Estates neighborhood.
Here was the response to a different pothole. "This location is not maintained by the City of Raleigh. We will close this See Click Fix inquiry at this time as only the City uses SCF to track issues in our area."
